दीपावली का पर्व हिंदू धर्म का सबसे प्रमुख त्योहार है। यह त्योहार प्रकाश, खुशहाली और समृद्धि का प्रतीक है। इस दिन माता लक्ष्मी, भगवान गणेश, कुबेर और सरस्वती जी की पूजा की जाती है। मान्यता है कि कार्तिक मास की अमावस्या की रात लक्ष्मी जी पृथ्वी पर भ्रमण करती हैं और जो घर स्वच्छ, सजे-संवरे और दीपों से आलोकित होते हैं, वहाँ वे निवास करती हैं। आइए जानते हैं दीवाली पूजन की संपूर्ण विधि —

पूजन की तैयारी

दीवाली पूजन से पहले घर की पूरी सफाई करना आवश्यक होता है। घर के मुख्य द्वार, मंदिर और आंगन को धोकर सुंदर रंगोली बनाई जाती है। दरवाजे पर तोरण और आम्र-पत्र (आम के पत्तों) की बंदनवार लगाई जाती है। पूजा के लिए नया या स्वच्छ कपड़ा बिछाकर लकड़ी का पाटा रखा जाता है। पाटे पर लाल कपड़ा बिछाकर उस पर माँ लक्ष्मी और भगवान गणेश की मूर्ति या चित्र स्थापित किया जाता है।

गणेश पूजन – सबसे पहले श्री गणेश जी की पूजा करें क्योंकि वे विघ्नहर्ता हैं। उन्हें अक्षत, पुष्प, दूर्वा, मोदक आदि अर्पित करें।

लक्ष्मी पूजन – अब माँ लक्ष्मी जी का ध्यान करें। उन्हें स्नान कराएं (गंगाजल छिड़कें), रोली, चावल, पुष्प, फल, मिठाई, सिक्के, नोट आदि अर्पित करें।
