3D model of a mechanically abstract organism inspired by William Darrell’s kinetic botanical sculptures, part flower, part sea creature, part machine. Central body: a thick circular hub that looks like a mechanical core, with layered rings, vents and subtle ridges, not a natural pistil. From this hub, dozens of long, finger‑like tendrils radiate outwards in spirals; each tendril is segmented with smooth joint-like bulges, twisting and curling like a cross between petals, tentacles and worms. Overall silhouette is roughly spherical/elliptical, not a flat blossom, with tendrils wrapping over and under each other to form a dense, writhing mass. All parts fused into one watertight solid for 3D printing, no separate moving pieces, no delicate loose tips.
