CRITICAL BASE DETAIL: The very bottom rim that contacts the aquarium substrate must feature a pattern of open vertical intake slots for lateral water flow. Each vertical slot is exactly 5mm high and 1mm wide, with 3mm of solid plastic spacing between each slot.
