Bedside table passive cable retraction system. Two ~3.3mm diameter charging cables (1m each) hang down the rear face of a bedside table, held near the top by an adhesive clip. To charge, a cable is pulled 20–40cm over the tabletop. When the device is unplugged, the cable must retract automatically to its resting position. Design two components: 1. Low-friction cable guide: ~5mm bore, side-entry slot so cable returns without threading, adhesive mount to vertical surface. Replaces existing rubber clip. 2. Passive retraction mechanism: clips non-destructively onto cable, mounts below the guide on the table's rear face, generates enough spring or elastic tension to retract 20–40cm of cable, but allows easy one-handed extension against that tension. FDM printable in PLA or PETG. No power source. No permanent modification to cables. Design two independent units, one per cable, to mount side by side.
