A 3D mechanical keyboard switch housing and matching keycap set, modular design. The switch base features a standard square 14mm footprint, but its middle section (the waist) is shaped like a threaded spool or multi-grooved cylindrical bobbin designed to hold wound copper wire coils. The matching keycap has an inverted open cavity underneath with a cross-shaped stem mount. The four internal side walls of the keycap have precise vertical channeled grooves designed for internal copper trace routing, ending at a hollow top cavity meant for a micro-display screen. Sharp industrial CAD geometry, clean walls, optimized for 3D printing and electromagnetic induction assembly.
