"A factory spindle moulder (period 'shaper') for producing mouldings and profiles on rails and furniture parts. Robust square cast‑iron table approximately 48 in x 48 in with replaceable steel insert plates around the spindle pocket; the spindle protrudes from the table center and accepts large profile cutters.
