A gargantuan supernatural creature known as the Avatar of Xal'thuun. The body is a dense, roughly spherical mass approximately the size of a large dragon, composed entirely of countless writhing tentacles and thick, serpentine tendrils of varying thickness — some as thin as fingers, others as thick as a man's torso — all constantly sliding, coiling, and pulling in and out of the mass in slow, nauseating motion. The surface is wet and glistening, as if coated in a thick viscous slime that catches no light cleanly. The entire form is composed of deep blacks and dark purples — rich near-black violet at the deeper folds between tendrils, shifting to bruised dark purple at the outermost writhing edges. There is no skeleton, no symmetry, no defined front or back. It is purely organic wrongness given form. At one location on the surface of the mass, a single enormous eye is open — pulling the surrounding tendrils apart as it emerges, the flesh of the ball parting and peeling back to reveal it
