A large muscular serpent coiling in a vertical helix around an invisible cylinder, wrapping upward from bottom to top in three rotations, like a snake climbing a pole or wrapping around a human arm. The body rises higher with each rotation. The head at the very top rears upward with open mouth and visible fangs. Viewed from the side it should look like a vertical spiral staircase.
