A precision-machined cast aluminum alloy main bearing housing for a hermetic scroll compressor, isolated CAD-style mechanical component. Thick circular disc body with a raised central cylindrical boss containing a through-bore sized to seat a small bronze sleeve bearing. Four thick structural arms radiate outward symmetrically from the boss like spokes, each widening into a flat mounting flange with a drilled bolt hole at the outer rim, forming a spider or cross shape from above. The underside of the boss has a shallow recessed face where an Oldham ring would seat. Cut into the top face of the boss are two small rectangular keyway grooves positioned directly opposite each other at 180 degrees, sized to slide-fit locating tabs. Matte, slightly rough sand-cast aluminum texture with faint casting seams and mold parting lines, no polish or paint. Bare casting only, no bolts attached. Neutral gray studio background, orthographic proportions, precise engineering reference quality.
