Prompt
A Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) is one of the most widely used nuclear power systems, designed to safely convert nuclear energy into electricity through controlled physical and engineering processes. At its core, a PWR relies on nuclear fission as its energy source. The fuel used is uranium dioxide, enriched so that about 3–5% of it is Uranium-235, the isotope capable of sustaining a chain reaction. When a neutron strikes a Uranium-235 nucleus, the atom splits, releasing a large amount of energy (around 200 MeV), along with additional neutrons and smaller atomic fragments known as fission products. These newly released neutrons can go on to split other nuclei, creating a continuous chain reaction. For stable operation, the reactor must remain in a “critical” state, where each fission event leads to exactly one more on average. Engineers carefully manage this balance so that the reactor produces steady power without increasing uncontrollably or shutting down. THIS MODEL MUST WORK
