A simple mechanical slide gate dosing mechanism for powder, shown as a standalone object without any outer container. The design should focus only on the internal dosing system. The main body is a short rectangular box that represents the lower part of a hopper or container. In the center of the bottom face of this box there is a rectangular outlet opening for powder. Directly below this bottom opening there is a flat sliding plate that moves left and right along two guide rails. The sliding plate is a thin rectangular slab slightly larger than the outlet opening. It has one internal cutout: a round or rectangular hole that can align with the outlet or move away from it. When the sliding plate is in position 1, the hole of the plate is exactly aligned with the outlet opening above, so powder could fall straight through.
