Prompt
An original American steam traction engine built by Murray Machine & Iron Works in Wichita, Kansas in 1877. A unique transitional design that combines the appearance of an early portable steam engine with a self-propelled traction engine. Long horizontal riveted boiler, tall straight smokestack, large exposed cast iron flywheel on the left side, single cylinder steam engine with visible connecting rod, heavy cast iron frame extending beyond the boiler, open gears driving large rear traction wheels, small steering front wheels, wooden operator platform, coal bunker and water tank. Deep burgundy paint with cream striping, black ironwork, polished brass fittings, ornate governor, authentic 1870s American engineering. Looks like a prototype from a small Midwestern manufacturer rather than a mass-produced machine. Historically accurate, realistic materials, highly detailed, photorealistic, museum restoration condition, white background, three-quarter front view. Fully Drivable and rideable.
