In our claw machine prototype, the game begins when a player inserts a plastic bottle into the slot. The ultrasonic sensor detects the bottle and activates the system, starting a 10-second countdown that is displayed on the LCD screen. From 10 seconds down to 4 seconds, the timer runs silently, giving the player enough time to move the claw. When only 3 seconds remain, the buzzer begins to beep once every second, serving as a warning for the player to hurry. At 0 seconds, the buzzer produces a long final beep while the claw drops any prize it is holding into the collection box. This process not only simulates the fun of an arcade claw machine but also promotes recycling by using plastic bottles as tokens.
