tracked robot 3d model
Create a compact, functional prototype of a tracked robot with an articulated arm and jackhammer tool for testing purposes. Scale: small/bench-scale (40–60 cm total length). Base: lightweight tracked chassis (PLA/PETG), rubber tracks, 2 DC gear motors, simple suspension, space for battery and Arduino. Platform: mounts for Arduino and motor driver, basic cable routing. Arm: 3–4 DOF using high-torque servos (MG996R), reinforced joints, simplified structure. Tool: small jackhammer-style end effector at fixed 120° angle, short rigid extension (20–40 cm), optional vibration motor instead of real impact system. Control: joystick or Bluetooth remote (2-axis control). Materials: mostly 3D printed parts with metal screws (M3/M4). Objective: simulate safe cleaning operation, reduce operator exposure, and test movement/angles. Metrics: ease of control, stability, reach, and task efficiency.
