Create a fully modular, tendon-driven prosthetic robotic hand with mid-forearm, designed for separate 3D printing and assembly. IMPORTANT: The model must NOT be a single solid piece. Every functional component must be separate and printable individually. Finger Design (Critical) – Five fingers (thumb + four fingers) – Each finger is made of 3 separate phalanges: Distal (tip) Middle Proximal – Each phalange is a separate part – Include hinge-style pin joints between phalanges – Add through-holes and channels for tendon strings running from fingertip to palm – Fingertips must have anchor holes or hooks for tying nylon thread / fishing line Palm Assembly – Palm shell must be split into two parts: Palm top cover Palm bottom plate – Internal routing channels for strings inside the palm – Finger bases connect to the palm using pin joints or screws – Include small guide holes at finger roots for tendon direction Wrist & Mid-Arm Section – Wrist joint must be a separate rotational connector – Forearm (mid-arm) must be split into multiple shells: – Forearm shell A (left/top) – Forearm shell B (right/bottom) – Forearm interior must be hollow for: – String routing – Servo motors – Springs or elastic return – Add string exit holes at the wrist leading into the forearm Assembly & Print Requirements – Every joint must include: – Pin holes (3–4 mm) OR screw holes – No fused geometry – Clear tolerances (0.3 mm) for moving parts – Flat surfaces for FDM printing – Wall thickness: 2–3 mm Style & Scale – Mechanical prosthetic style (not organic) – Adult human hand proportions – Smooth but industrial design Output – Exploded, multi-part 3D model – Each finger segment, palm, wrist, and forearm as individual STL-ready components – Ready for tendon-based actuation
