The wine bottle shape must exist ONLY as EMPTY SPACE inside the mould. --- FUNCTIONAL GOAL: The mould will be filled with a mycelium substrate. The material grows inside the mould and forms packaging. The bottle will later sit inside this shape horizontally. --- MOULD TYPE: - Single-piece open-top tray - The bottle lies horizontally inside the mould - Only the bottom half of the bottle is supported (half-cradle design) - The top half of the bottle remains exposed --- NEGATIVE SPACE (CRITICAL): Create a semi-cylindrical cavity (half-pipe shape) that represents the wine bottle. Bottle dimensions (for the cavity ONLY): - Length: 300 mm - Diameter: 75–80 mm Cavity dimensions (slightly oversized for fit): - Length: 320 mm - Diameter: 82 mm This cavity must be SUBTRACTED from the solid block. --- MOULD DIMENSIONS (SOLID OBJECT): - Length: 360 mm - Width: 140 mm - Height: 90 mm - Wall thickness: minimum 15–20 mm on all sides --- SHAPE DETAILS: - The cavity must be smooth and rounded (no sharp edges) - Add a slight 3° draft angle for easy removal - Internal fillets: 5–10 mm radius - Flat base so the mould sits stable on a table - Open at the top (no lid) --- AIRFLOW FEATURES (VERY IMPORTANT): This mould is for growing living mycelium, so airflow is required. Add: 1. Ventilation holes: - Diameter: 3–5 mm - Even spacing across side walls and base 2. Ribbed airflow channels on the base: - Height: 5 mm - Spacing: 10–15 mm - Run perpendicular to bottle length These features must connect to the cavity to allow oxygen flow. --- PRINT REQUIREMENTS: - Designed for FDM 3D printing - No internal overlapping geometry - Watertight outer mesh - Avoid overhangs steeper than 45° - Clean, manifold geometry --- REFERENCE STYLE: The result should resemble a packaging tray insert where a wine bottle lies horizontally, similar to molded protective packaging. The cavity is carved into a thick solid block. --- FINAL CHECK: Ensure the wine bottle shape is NOT visible as a solid object. It must exist only as a hollow cavity inside the mould. The mould should be a single-piece, open-top tray that holds the bottle horizontally. The design must represent only the BACK HALF of the bottle shape (a half-cradle), so the bottle rests inside it while the top half remains exposed.
