wind-up airboat 3d model
Design a functional 3D-printable wind-up airboat toy. Use a compact twin-hull catamaran body with a flat raised center deck. No batteries or electric motor. Power comes from a hand-wound spiral mainspring connected to a gear train. The wind-up knob turns the spring mechanism; stored energy drives reduction gears into a 90-degree bevel gear that transfers rotation to a horizontal rear propeller shaft. Use a functional 4-blade airboat propeller mounted above the water, surrounded by a rounded protective lattice cage. Include rear shaft supports and a compact enclosed gearbox housing. Parts should snap together where possible with 3D-printable axles and gears. Design for actual water use: lightweight, balanced, buoyant, stable, mechanically functional, and easy to assemble.
