Maximum width of finger body: 18 mm. Thickness of finger body: 8 mm uniform. Base thickness at pivot area: 12 mm reinforced section. PIVOT AREA: Include one circular pivot hole. Pivot hole diameter: 5 mm. Pivot hole must be centered inside a thick circular boss. Boss diameter: 16 mm. Boss thickness: 12 mm. Pivot hole tolerance: +0.2 mm for smooth rotation. STRUCTURAL STRENGTH: Add internal ribbing along the outer curve. Add 2 triangular reinforcement ribs near the pivot base. Inner structure must be lightweight but strong. Target infill compatibility: 30–40%. Designed for torque from small servo motor. GRIPPING SURFACE: Inner curve must be smooth and slightly textured. Add shallow grip pattern (0.5 mm depth). No sharp edges on gripping surface. Outer surface must remain flat and clean. TIP DESIGN: Fingertip must be slightly rounded. Tip radius: 3 mm. No hook shape. No closure toward opposite side. MOUNTING FEATURES: Add 2 small mounting holes near pivot base. Mounting hole diameter: 3 mm. Spacing between mounting holes: 12 mm center-to-center. Mounting holes aligned parallel to pivot axis. PRINTING CONSTRAINTS: Optimized for FDM 3D printing. Material: PLA or PETG. Minimum wall thickness: 2.4 mm. No unsupported overhang above 50 degrees. Flat base surface for easy bed adhesion.
