Design a small handheld mechanical clicker device inspired by motorcycle brake clickers, but purely for tactile and audible feedback (no functional braking or adjustment). The device should fit fully in the palm of a hand, approximately 40–60 mm in total size. Create a compact ergonomic body with a thumb-rotated wheel or dial that produces loud, crisp mechanical clicks. Use a spring-loaded ball detent system: 3–5 mm steel ball bearing, compression spring, and a circular detent ring with 20–30 evenly spaced notches. Each notch must create a distinct audible “click” and satisfying tactile feedback. The wheel should be 25–35 mm in diameter with knurled edges for grip. Design a sealed housing with internal resonance chamber to amplify sound. Include smooth rotation with moderate resistance. Material should be FDM 3D-printable (PETG or PLA).
