Design a very simple mechanical ping-pong ball release gate for a children's science experiment. The mechanism must use ONLY: 1. One long barrier bar 2. Simple gears 3. One hand-operated lever REQUIREMENTS: - Release 5 ping-pong balls simultaneously. - Ping-pong ball diameter: 40 mm. - Barrier width: approximately 600 mm. - The barrier is positioned horizontally across all 5 lanes. - The barrier normally blocks all five balls. - When the child presses the lever, the gears rotate and lift the barrier upward. - The five balls are released simultaneously. - When the lever is released, the barrier returns downward by gravity. - No springs. - No motors. - No complicated mechanisms. - No separate release gates for each ball. MECHANISM: Use a simple gear mechanism connected to a hand lever. The lever should rotate a small gear. The small gear drives a larger gear or gear rack.
