Designing a fully enclo handheld instrument like a Fluke multimeter, with a color touch display, the display mounts to a pcb internally which is 64mm wide by 148mm long. I need an attractive handheld enclosure like Fluke multimeter. The display is exposed at the front, the touch enabled display cutout for the 4"TFT starts about 30mm from one edge, centered top to bottom and is recessed just a bit for damage avoidance. The case will consist of 4 parts. Top and bottom shells encase all the parts, including 2 18650 cells lined up alongside the pcb in their own embedded circular trough, and the pcb will mount to screw bosses in the lower case half. Top half encloses the case. A separate plate will slide into one long side, where I will mount the power switch and 2 data cable connectors, this lets me reuse the case for other changes to ports later. The plate will be retained in grooves in top and bottom case halves and be slightly recessed to protect the switch and ports.
