I. Core Design Concept With the core concept of "Holding the Galaxy in Hand, Swinging the Cue to Chase the Stars", this design integrates the vastness of the cosmic starry sky with the precision of billiards sports. Through the interplay of material light and shadow as well as structural details, it recreates the visual effects of flowing nebulae and twinkling stars. Meanwhile, it ensures the cue’s balance and force transmission efficiency, achieving a dual breakthrough in both aesthetics and performance. II. Cue Body (Shaft + Joint Collar + Butt End) Material Selection The shaft is based on high-elasticity maple wood, wrapped in a transparent epoxy resin coating with a built-in optical fiber light-emitting layer. The joint collar and butt end are made of aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, treated with anodization to ensure light weight and corrosion resistance. Appearance Design Shaft: With a length of 170cm, its epoxy resin coating is embedded with micro-scale starry particles (blue-purple gradient mica flakes + silver metallic sparkles) to simulate stars in the deep space. The optical fiber layer is spirally distributed along the shaft; when powered on, it emits soft cool light, presenting the flowing trajectory of the Milky Way’s spiral arms. Joint Collar: It features a circular structure, with the pattern of the Big Dipper etched on the surface. The grooves are filled with fluorescent resin that glows automatically in dark environments. The edge is inlaid with 6 micro-sapphires, corresponding to the positions of the six major planets in the solar system. Butt End: Designed in a hemispherical shape, it embeds a high-transparency acrylic ball inside, which encapsulates a nebula model made of blue-pink gradient resin. III. Cue Tip and Forearm Cue Tip: A hard multi-layer leather tip (13mm in diameter) is adopted for precise shot placement. The metal ferrule under the tip is processed with a wire-drawing technique and engraved with constellation symbols to enhance anti-slip performance. Forearm: It is a solid maple wood forearm, treated with low-temperature drying to minimize deformation. The surface uses a matte frosted finish to avoid glare that might interfere with vision, while retaining the integrated texture of wood grain and starry particles. IV. Grip Section Material It is crafted from eco-friendly silicone material, which is soft and skin-friendly with excellent anti-slip performance. Built-in breathable textures prevent sweating during prolonged holding. Design The grip is 28cm long, with a thickness that conforms to ergonomics (slightly thicker in the middle and tapering at both ends). The surface is printed with a hidden star map pattern, featuring an uneven touch to enhance holding stability. V. Functional and Detailed Highlights Light Interaction: The optical fiber layer supports two lighting modes — "Static Galaxy" (constant cool light) and "Dynamic Nebula". The cool light of the optical fiber layer delivers slow, irregular brightness gradients and flowing effects, simulating the elegant diffusion of nebula gas in the universe. The light travels along the spiral trajectory of the shaft, creating a visual effect as if real nebulae are rotating slowly.
