I'm making a planter than hangs on the wire mesh under my stairs railing. The stair pitch is 5/7, and the mesh the planter will hang on is a 2mm wire mesh with 10cm spacing. I want the planter to be 10 inches wide, by 6 inches tall by 2 inches deep, when finished. The 10 inch width side will run along the stairs, and the top of the planter will be, essentially a 10 inch x 2 inch rectangle. However, the body of the planter should have a 3 inch wide section that is the full 6 inches in height, and then taper upwards from the bottom, at the stair's pitch. This is essentially a rectangle stuck to a truncated triangle. The walls of the planeter should be 2mm thick and the whole thing should hold water, so the top should be level.
