stamping press 3d model
"Large eccentric stamping press (gap-frame style) with a massive cast-iron frame and a 5–6 ft cast-iron flywheel connected to a crank/ eccentric shaft. The ram is guided by thick square columns and fitted with interchangeable tooling for punching and forming sheet metal. Surface and wear: one side of the frame bears embossed floral maker ornamentation typical of turn-of-the-century foundries; chipped black paint, smeared grease around the ram guides, and a dark collection of punched metal slugs in a steel bin. Mechanical details: exposed connecting rods with grease fittings, adjustable stop blocks, a heavy belt guard with slotted vents, and a hand-operated dog/clutch lever to engage the flywheel. Safety historically minimal: no modern guards, only a simple hinged wooden barrier in front of the die."
