led soldering jig 3d model
Mechanical jig for soldering 6mm LEDs to wires. The device is a small clamping fixture used to hold a 6mm LED against an electrical wire during soldering. Overall size: 70 mm wide, 50 mm deep. Components: • A rectangular base platform where the LED sits • A horizontal channel across the base for the wire to pass through • Two vertical pivot arms that rotate on pins • The arms press the LED against the wire • A small lever mechanism underneath to lock the LED in place • Pivot pins used as rotational joints • A central screw or pin for mechanical adjustment The LED sits in a semicircular cradle sized for a 6 mm diameter LED. The wire passes through a straight groove across the jig. When the arms rotate downward they clamp the LED against the wire so it can be soldered. Design the model as a mechanical fixture suitable for 3D printing. Include separated parts: base two clamp arms pivot pins lever mechanism Tolerances suitable for FDM 3D printing. Use rounded edges and printable clearances of 0.3 mm.
