This time, Sir Reginald veered sharply and tried to suck up one of Gary's dumbbells. It made a truly offended grinding noise. After rescuing it a second time, Gary sighed, "Maybe he just needs a simpler task." He set Sir Reginald down in the middle of a completely bare stretch of hardwood floor. Sir Reginald took one look at the vast, dust-free expanse, decided the pressure was too much, and then deliberately drove itself straight into the dog's water bowl. Gary just looked at me, covered his face, and said, "I think Sir Reginald just quit."
