My proposed design is a motorized, spring-driven catapult featuring an integrated, synchronized autoloading mechanism that mounts non-destructively to the ELEGOO car chassis. The system utilizes a high-torque servo motor to pull back the main catapult arm, stretching a metal tension spring to fulfill the stored mechanical energy requirement. As the motor retracts the arm into its firing position, the arm physically engages a trigger that tilts a parallel autoloading lever of matched length. This synchronized action releases exactly one ping pong ball from a gravity-fed wooden hopper directly into the catapult cup, satisfying the mandatory autoloader function without requiring a secondary motor. Once the vehicle autonomously navigates and stops at the designated drop zone, the servo releases the arm, allowing the spring to snap forward and launch the payload.
