One sunny morning, a little doggy named Max was playing in the park. Max loved running, jumping, and chasing his red ball. While playing, Max kicked the ball too far. The ball rolled into a bush and disappeared. “Oh no! My ball!” barked Max sadly. Max searched near the trees, under the bench, and beside the flowers, but he could not find it. Soon, a small bird flew down and chirped, “I saw your ball near the pond!” Max quickly ran to the pond. There, he saw his red ball floating near the water. But it was too far away. Just then, a friendly duck pushed the ball toward the shore with its beak. Max happily grabbed it and wagged his tail. “Thank you, Duck!” said Max. From that day on, Max learned that good friends always help each other. Moral: Kindness and friendship make every problem smaller.
