A clip-on blinder that attaches to the edge of a baseball-style cap brim. The unit consists of a C-shaped clip that grips the brim (fits 2.5–6 mm thick, ~26 mm long, ~12 mm deep). A friction hinge extends from the clip and supports a tapered shade panel. The shade folds up and down (0–110° range) and holds position. The panel is about 95 mm long, ~64 mm tall at the rear, ~45 mm tall at the front, and 2.5 mm thick with optional stiffening ribs and a small inner lip to block light gaps. Edges are filleted for comfort. Because the geometry is symmetrical, the same part can be used on either the left or right side of the brim.
