The paws and tail should be part of the base, which needs to be flat so that it doesn't move on the chess board. The base should be circular and 40mm in diameter. The overall height of the piece should be 85mm. The dog should be in an erect and alert posture. It should wear a tall arched crown and wear a cloak. The cloak should reach to the edge of the base of the piece. The cat should wear an ornate necklace. The cat should be sitting in a regal and dignified pose. The piece should rest on a circular plinth which is 80% of the height of the catl. The plinth should resemble a Doric-style column. The cat's tail shoudl wrap around the edge of the plinth. The cat should fill the majority of the plinth when it's sitting dwn. The bottom of the plinth should be the bottom of the model and must be flat so that it stands upright on the chess board.
