Small climbing robots inspired by geckos use electrostatic adhesion to climb spacecraft, habitat walls, solar panels, towers and narrow pipes. The robot is mainly also used as a surveillance device stationed and regularly patrolling through the base’s main systems to notify the AI system. The robot contains tools such as compressed-gas cleaning jets to clean Martian regolith buildup in outer areas. It is connected to the AI mainframe to have sensors detect equipment malfunction. It has equipment and instruments to repair wiring. Furthermore, the climbing claws are extendable and rotatable for precise grip. As the electrostatic feet may lose efficiency as the Martian regolith sticks to it, the robot will have ultrasonic vibration pads that shake dust loose and the outside will be made with electrodynamic dust-repelling surfaces. Must be gecko shaped/ inspired and fit into pipes
