Tall and wrong proportioned — about 8 feet, but hunched so it moves at around 6. The height only reveals itself when it stands in a doorway. Limbs are too long, fingers extend past where they should, dragging along walls as it walks which is where the scraping sound comes from. Wears the rotted remains of a sexton's cassock — black, torn, soaked dark. The fabric is fused to the skin in places like it grew into it. No visible face. The head is wrapped tightly in what looks like altar cloth, stained and sunken into where the features should be. The cloth moves slightly when it breathes. You never see eyes but you always feel watched. Chest cavity is partially caved in on one side — you can hear it breathing because it wheezes on every exhale, a wet rattling sound. This is your main audio cue that it's close before you even see it.
