The 2D CAD design below assumes the following: Printed Parts: Handle, Main Shaft Housing, Replaceable Tip Body, Release Lever. Non-Printed Hardware (Required): 1x Small Compression Spring: (Fits inside the shaft, approx. 4-5mm OD). 1x Metal Dowel Pin/Rod: (Approx. 1.5mm diameter, acts as the pivot for the lever). (Optional but recommended) Metal blade insert: The V-tip should ideally be a small metal piece inserted into the printed tip body for actual cutting ability.Technical Description of Operation based on Section A-A: The Compression Spring (S6) sits on an internal ledge (S7) inside the housing. The Replaceable Tip (S5) is pushed into the housing, compressing the spring. The Release Lever hooks onto a notch in the tip (S2 holding S5), locking it in place under spring tension. To release, you pull the Lever Tab (S4) outward. The lever pivots on the Metal Pin (S3), disengaging the hook (S2) from the notch. The spring ejects the tip upwards.Summary of 3D Printing Strategy based on this 2D Design: Modeling: Use the Orthogonal views above to create 4 separate STL files (Handle, Housing, Lever, Tip). Tolerances: When modeling the "Hole" in Part 1, make it 0.15mm larger than the "OD" of Part 2 so they fit together snugly. Make the stem of Part 4 about 0.2mm smaller than the bore of Part 2 so it slides freely. Printing Orientation: Housing & Handle: Print standing upright. Lever & Tip: Print lying flat on their sides for maximum structural strength. Assembly: Insert the metal spring into the Housing shaft. Place the Lever into the slot and press the metal Pivot Pin through the holes to secure it. Press the Housing into the Handle. Push the Tip down into the shaft until the Lever clicks into the notch.
