The HAL Tejas is a compact, 4.5-generation supersonic fighter featuring a tailless, compound delta-wing. Lacking tailplanes, the wing uses trailing-edge elevons and leading-edge slats for pitch and roll control. The fuselage utilizes "Coke-bottle" area ruling to reduce transonic drag.
