The Pedestrian Lane is installed directly on pedestrian lanes and is designed to respond to vehicle speed. When a car passes over the pad, its tires make contact with the rubbery, textured surface. This contact generates pressure and friction between the tires and the pad. Vehicles traveling at higher speeds create stronger friction and pressure thus the increased friction serves as a natural indicator that the vehicle is moving too fast slightly raising it and acting as humps providing vibration and resistance that alerts the driver while remaining completely safe. Each unit can be arranged to resemble a pedestrian crossing. The surface pattern is inspired by Braille-style tactile paving commonly used for the visually impaired, enhancing tire grip and minimizes slipping, even during wet or rainy conditions. Reflective elements also improve visibility at night, ensuring drivers can clearly see the pedestrian lane ahead.
