The rapid growth of cargo transportation has increased the risk of theft, unauthorized access, and tampering during transit. Traditional locking systems lack real-time monitoring, authentication control, and alert mechanisms, making cargo security a major concern. To address these challenges, this project presents a smart IoT-based cargo security and monitoring system that integrates authentication, surveillance, tracking, and alert technologies into a single platform. The proposed system uses an ESP32-based controller integrated with an NFC authentication module, dual locking mechanism (solenoid lock and servo control), GPS tracking, GSM communication, and multiple sensors such as vibration, tilt, temperature, and light detection. Authorized access is granted through a mobile application using NFC verification and OTP-based authentication.
