Prompt
The Terracalefactio is a huge reptilian hexapod that is predominantly colored a desaturated maroon. Its coloration starts off near-black at the head and wings, then transitions into a lighter dull-red at its tail. On its torso are wide vertical striations of varying grey shades that cover its underside and taper out as they travel upwards towards the back. Said back is covered in two rows of short triangular crimson osteoderms that start at the back of its head and travel halfway down its upper torso. Triangular spikes appear again towards the tail's tip in a singular row that lead to a crescent-shaped structure that composes the tail's end. Suspended within this crescent is an ovoid grey mass that is perpetually set on fire. Its massive wings are structured similarly to those of a bat; four long, thin fingers curve towards the back to create the framing for each wing's membranes, while the front-most thumb digit is splayed to the side disconnected from the wing membranes. At the end of all five digits (per arm) is a single large black claw. Connecting the four wing digits and the main body is a thin fold of skin that composes much of the wings' surface area. It is a deep maroon near the torso and arm's base, then it gets progressively lighter as the membrane travels both away from the main body and towards the tail. Two membrane trails run along its tail, which are comparable to the tail-like wing projections of luna moths and other similar species. The four non-wing limbs of the Terracalefactio are short and sturdily built, able to support the great weight of this species. Its digitigrade hindlimbs end in four digits while the forelimbs end in five, and all 18 aforementioned digits end in short, sharp claws. The forelimbs are able to swap between being manipulative appendages and another set of legs for when the Terracalefactio runs. The head of this species is long and flat like that of an alligator, except its eyes are placed further forward towards the front end of the skull. Rows of short, small spikes line the back of its head, while the rest of its head is quite smooth and flat. Lining the wide maws of this species are small triangular teeth, and the mouth's inside is lined with desaturated pink flesh
