The CAD chassis features an ultra-wide 540 mm spine, a 320 mm height to shield the pages, and 295 mm wide cover panels, all utilizing a rigid 4.5 mm uniform wall thickness. The exterior spine and front cover incorporate 1.0 mm debossed pockets to host flush, clear plastic label windows. To withstand extreme mechanical loads, traditional living hinges are replaced with interlocking 20 mm mechanical knuckle joints featuring a 3.2 mm bore that houses a 3 mm stainless steel axle rod.
