Today I am going to talk about the farmers of Nepal. Nepal is an agricultural country. Most people in Nepal depend on farming for their livelihood. Farmers work very hard in the fields from early morning until evening. They grow crops like rice, maize, wheat, millet, and vegetables. The land of Nepal is divided into three regions: the Mountain region, the Hill region, and the Terai region. In the Terai region, farmers grow a large amount of rice and wheat. In the hilly areas, they grow maize and millet. Farmers in Nepal face many challenges such as unpredictable weather, floods, landslides, and lack of modern farming tools. Even though they work very hard, they sometimes do not earn enough income. Farmers are the backbone of Nepal’s economy. We should respect and support them because they provide food for the whole nation.
