n the year 2287, a lone astronaut, Commander Sarah Jenkins, floated through the debris of her shattered spaceship. Her eyes locked onto a strange, alien pod drifting towards her. As Sarah cracked open the pod's lid, a low hum filled her spacesuit headphones. Inside, an alien creature with black skin and green eyes lay frozen. Suddenly, its eyes snapped open – focusing on Sarah. It spoke one word: "Run." Sarah sprinted through space debris, the alien creature's pod exploding behind her. She reached her ship's escape pod barely alive. As she entered Earth's atmosphere, her comms crackled: "Incoming transmission from... yourself." Sarah answered, hearing her own voice say: "Do not land. I am not you. The alien is inside me." Sarah's eyes widened as her own face appeared on screen – eyes black as coal. Should she crash the pod? veered the pod into the ocean. She blacked out. Waking up in a lab, a scientist said: "Commander, you've been cloned. That thing... it replicated you perfectly." Then Sarah heard her own voice behind her say: "Replicated her imperfectly... I'm still in here."
