unctional 3D printable grommet for BMW X3 F25 (2011-2017) trunk firewall. Purpose: secure and route a positive (+) battery cable (8mm-10mm diameter) through a 22mm hole in the vehicle body. Split into two symmetrical halves that clamp together through the panel. The assembly consists of Part A (engine bay side, low profile) and Part B (trunk side, larger grip). Both halves have matching alignment pins (2mm diameter) and screw bosses (M3 thread). The halves compress against the steel body from both sides, sandwiching the panel without rotation. Central channel: 9mm smooth bore with 2mm soft radius at edges to prevent wire chafing. Part A outer diameter: 28mm. Part B outer diameter: 32mm with ribbed texture for hand tightening. Both include an integrated flange that overlaps the 22mm hole by 5mm. Material: PETG or ABS (heat resistant up to 90°C, non-conductive). Output: STL, watertight, no support structures needed.
