drainage tile 3d model
Design a square drainage tile for 3D printing that reduces surface runoff and supports daily pedestrian walking. The tile dimensions are 150 mm × 150 mm × 50 mm (length, width, thickness). Include a 10 mm solid border around the entire tile with no holes to maintain strength. Inside this border is a 130 mm × 130 mm usable area for drainage holes. Each hole must be conical (tapered) to guide water downward and prevent mud from rising. The top diameter is 10 mm and the bottom diameter is 5 mm, passing through the full 50 mm thickness of the tile. Arrange the holes in a uniform grid pattern with rows and columns. Maintain 10 mm spacing between the edges of holes on the top surface. The holes should be evenly distributed with multiple holes per row. The design allows rainwater to drain into the soil, reducing runoff while the thick tile and border provide strength for regular walking use.
