FM Mini Transmitter Inside Acrylic Box Create a small DIY FM transmitter device enclosed inside a transparent acrylic box. Overall Structure The device is housed inside a clear acrylic rectangular box, made of flat transparent panels bolted together. The box should be slightly larger than the transmitter board, with enough interior space for wires and small components. The acrylic case includes: Four vertical walls, one top lid, one bottom plate. Small metal screws at corners. All panels are transparent. Inside the Box: Core Components Place the internal components from the first transmitter image inside the acrylic box, mounted on a single base plate. 1. Main Circuit Board A small rectangular PCB (printed circuit board), brown or green. Mounted horizontally on standoffs inside the box. Contains: Small resistors, capacitors, and solder joints. A connector for the antenna. Several red and black wires soldered to the board. 2. Battery Holder One double AA battery holder, black plastic. Positioned on the left side of the board. Wires (red & black) connect the holder to the PCB. 3. Antenna A thin metal antenna rod (about 10–12 cm long). Passes vertically through a small hole in the top acrylic panel. Mounted to the PCB via a metal connector. Additional Components 4. On/Off Switch A small metal toggle switch mounted through the acrylic wall (top-left corner). Connected to the internal wiring. 5. Indicator LEDs Two LEDs inside the box: One red One green Positioned near the front panel. Wires run visibly to the main circuit board. 6. Optional Coil (If keeping the aesthetic of the second image) A visible copper-wound coil mounted on a small elevated PCB. Positioned above the main board on four plastic standoffs. (This is optional—include only if you want the more “technical” look.) Aesthetic Notes All wiring is visible inside the clear box; red, black, and yellow wires are loosely routed, similar to DIY kits. Panels are laser-cut acrylic with smooth edges. The device should look hand-built, experimental, and open-source. No branding or text required. Output Goal A fully enclosed, transparent-box version of the original FM mini-transmitter, with all components clearly visible inside the casing and an antenna exiting the top panel.
