They are called The Linkers. Linkers are humans who have formed a perfect connection with their shadows. Instead of losing control, they synchronize with their shadows. The Main Character Kai Renji Age: 17 Kai is a quiet and observant high school student. He lives with his younger sister Mika after their parents mysteriously disappeared 8 years ago during a strange accident called “The Black Night Incident.” Since childhood Kai has always felt something strange about his shadow. Sometimes it moves slightly differently from him. Sometimes he notices it watching him. But he always ignores it. Because he fears discovering the truth.
